A city in the far eastern…
Indeed Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. Sofia is also the biggest city in Bulgaria. You might be a bit challenged when it comes to historical references – We associate “Liberation” with second war II whereas here Liberation refers to freedom from the Ottoman empire which historical presence is everywhere. Byzantine constructions and Orthodoxes churches are great witnesses of this age.
